Border Patrol 10

Border Patrol 10 A special new year resolution – Never believe the headlines as they often do not relate to the actual detail in the story and are often designed to make a case for the Union, despite the perpetual political disintegration emanating from Westminster. There is a major article on delivery by NHS Scotland which leads all other UK NHS organisations with a higher target of those seen by A&E within 4 hours and a record delivery ahead of the other three UK nations. A fascinating map shows the most common country of immigrant population and for the UK it is not the EU. With the Labour party and Corbyn still insisting that remaining in the Single Market and Customs Union would be like staying in the EU there is important information in this issue on the dangers to the Scottish economy and to employment if we do not stay in the Single Market and Customs Union. Theresa May has so many red lines that obtaining a decent trade deal is all but impossible. Corbyn is endorsing May’s red lines and needs to be called to account.
